Looking Down the airstrip from the top. Compare to the photo below taken last year.
Picture taken last year as work began clearing the trees.
The first photo is looking from the top of the airstrip down the length of it. It has come a LONG way! And to think, this picture was taken after a mere 13 full working days with the Bobcat!
What looks like the end of the airstrip in this picture is actually only the mid-point of the airstrip. There is a crest in the hill that is blocking you from seeing the other end--it is cleared out just like this end.
